Earth is in the dark ages.

But when Lt William Bonney and his squad of alien killing soldiers uncover lost technology, the tide begins to turn.

He was trapped in a hidden bunker on the alien base and used his Suit to connect with an experimental star craft. 

 He escaped from the base and sacrificed himself in a kamikaze run against the Lick High Command ship.

Except he didn't die.

He's picked up by what's left of the Space Fleet, earth's last line of defense against the invaders, a ragtag collection of twelve ships that harass the alien armada to prevent a full scale landing.

He's torn.

He want's to go home and rejoin the fight, but info on the ship might be the key to winning the war forever. If the human survivors don't pop him out of an airlock first.
