Use Sand Soap to Sharpen the Food Chopper—

 If the knives of your food chopper become black and dull, run a piece of sand soap, or scouring brick, through the chopper as you would a potato. 

 It will brighten and sharpen the knives and they will cut like new. 

 Use pulverized sand soap or the scouring brick with which you scour.

How often do you ask for help? One of the biggest problems I have is asking for help for anything.  I remember when my ex-wife and I decided to move back from California after my first daughter was born.  I flew her and the baby back to her parents house in Arkansas, then flew back to California, rented a 27 foot truck and proceeded to load an entire 3 bedroom duplex into the back of the truck by myself.  After a day of loading, I climbed in the truck and started the 2000 mile cross country trek alone.  And when we arrived, I would have unloaded by myself until a back spasm hit and knocked me to the ground.  Even then I still limped around picking up lighter boxes and smaller things all the while favoring my right side. It's crazy and I wish I knew where it came from. CHAPTER ONE Before. I stopped watching the news because I read somewhere that successful people focused on things they could control. It’s hard to control the news. It’s designed for shock value, and in a game of ratings, most news reporting started to rely on shock value. I feel I may have missed out on a lot. Sometimes, I’d watch gas prices shoot up and wonder what happened to affect the price. Then I’d click into a station and hear that the President was making remarks about the Middle East, which would make oil prices rise, and speculators would rush in to change the price of a barrel.
