Can I have your autograph?

Image
Someone asked me if I would autograph a book for them. At first I felt like looking around to see who they were talking about. Who me? But since the email was address to me, and it started out like a lot of Dear John letters, except this one said, Dear Chris, I thought there was a better than average chance they were asking me. Hmmm. Sunday Harvest Fest in Hillcrest a fall festival success

Image
The Harvest Fest in Hillcrest seemed like a huge success. Huge crowds filled Kavanagh Blvd between the vendors lined up from the bandstand on one end to the Baggo contest on the other. We made the route six times. The first route was to check out the vendors on one side while we had a beer. It was as much fun to check out all the doggos out for a crowded stroll, and the people watching was incredible. The second route was back to the Baggo tournament to watch round one. This is the game where you throw beanbags at a hole in a board from twenty feet away, and it’s sort of hypnotic. There has to be a great story about how a drinking game graduated to tailgating essential all the way up to organized tournament play. It is a game best played with a drink in hand, and as it turns out, best watched as well. We went back into the crowd to search for Christmas items from vendors, and found three favorite spots.   Rock Monkey , Hillcrest Waterbugs, and...

And those who wait until the last minute and scramble to get what’s left. Which camp are you in? I’m doing something new for Christmas and I hope you’ll take advantage of it. I’m going to sell signed copies of my paperbacks for you or for you to give as a gift. I wanted to let you know early so you could get it on your to do list, or so you could get started now. It’s simple and easy. Take a look at the list below, and send me an email with which book you want inscribed.   Let me know who to sign it for, or what you might like it to say. You can send $ via Venmo, or let me know if you want to use SQUARE for credit card payment. I’ll sign it, and ship it straight to you. And if you don’t want a signed copy, use the list to get a paperback to put ...
